Kudzu in IRThis summer my IR project is to capture infrared scenes featuring the vine we all love to hate, kudzu. As a kid, I remember traveling with the family from Atlanta to Birmingham and back on US 78. One of the clues that we'd gone halfway was passing through a Kudzu Monster forest near Anniston. The greatest minds in agriculture have not yet been able to fully control this plant, which still devours tress, old barns and power poles over Southern backroads. And maybe even YOU, if you don't keep moving. Watch this space for an essay or two later this year. Meanwhile, here are some stray images of Dread Cthludzu.
Obtain cutting. Drop on ground. Run like hell.
