Devil's Racetrack

More IR madness, this time from a clearing called Devil's Racetrack at the top of the Wade Mountain trail in north Huntsville.

The bright Sun and clear air are perfect for viewing the scene in visible and infrared. The mountain trails are also favorites of local off-road bikers. The North Alabama Land Trust is responsible for several preserves in the rapidly growing Huntsville area.

Electricity is my life. These 250kV lines crackle in humid weather. Kite flying is not recommended here.
